Ellie the Songwriter

Today I found Ellie sitting on the front couch "writing a song" and "working out the music" on her brother's guitar. She was writing down the valuable information in that book off to the side. She has done this several times, so I thought I should get it documented myself. Someday I will post her creations!

I went to the OB today and this little one had turned and was in a breech position. Silly girl! Turn around Annie, so we can meet you!! The doctor ran every test to make sure she is still growing properly. I had an ultrasound, a non-stress test, and bloodwork. Everything looks great, with the exception of her position. The doctor suggested that I try a midwife trick. It's a little silly, so I will try it and report if it worked after next week's ultrasound.

Our family is getting really excited to welcome little Annie! Yesterday in the car Easton said, "Mom, what if the shots don't work?" He was eluding to the Lovanox (a blood thinner) that I am on. I said, "Easton, we only have 19 days left. I think everything is going to be ok." AJ piped up in the back and said, "Mom, you wish you only had 19 days left!" And then I repeated, "No really AJ, I only have 19 days left!" Both boys beamed with smiles all the way home!

My Brothers' Homecoming Football Game

I love high school football games! Tonight was a special game, because my two brothers (who aren't little anymore) were playing in their high school's Homecoming game. It was wonderful to sit there in the crowd, surrounded by family, watching the two of them lined up with their team. It was even more exciting to watch their team play to victory! Bernie, great receptions! Ben, have a great JV game tomorrow!! Love those boys!!!

All My Girls!

I was just sharing with all my girls, Madison, Brooke, Ellie and Annie (who still inside, but still very present!) and I am showing them our new family blog. They are seriously in CUTE moods today. I am going to attempt to find a picture of the three of them and show their smiling faces!!
