Day 3~BEAR LAKE~Fun on the boat!

Ok...
Posting the hundreds of pictures from Bear Lake has overwhelmed me for weeks.
NO MORE!
I am getting so much further behind!
Since Bear Lake we have had Back-to-school, a birthday, Youth Conference, Six Flags, AND a wedding!
I know that this is an excessive amount of pictures for one day, but this is our life.
We are busy, and full of life, and frankly, there are a lot of us.
I couldn't choose just one picture for each child, so here is Day 3, otherwise known as Boat Day #1!!
It started out with Lucy and Annie playing, or should I say, laying, on the waverunner parked right out front.

Then we headed right for the beach!
After spending Sunday as a family on the shore, everyone was anxious to get wet!
Tymber Julia hijacked her cousin Keara's, cool beach chair!

Hyrum did a little "fishing."

And Grandma and Grandpa Dieker did a little watching!
Hi Madie Ann
I love this picture of Stephen with his oldest, Hyrum.
I love those smiles!
Lucy with a quick blink, and both she and Annie digging their way to China.

Stephen was "protecting" Tymber from the sun with his classic hat that read, "Property of my Family."  Just in case any other woman or any other children on that beach my want to take him home. :)
Our first picture of the first person to try out the boat...Ben rocking it!
Our two little beach princesses.

Keara taking back her beach front seat, and trying to apply her own sunscreen.  She is adorable!
Wakeboarder #2...Looks like Easton won that turn!

A.J., Easton, and Madie loving the boat!

I love this beautiful girl...and that gorgeous man below!

Stephen taking a couple of the girls for a ride. Hold on Miss Caroline and Ellie!

I love the smile on Brooke and Robbie.  So fun!

Ben and Easton couldn't get enough, so when they weren't on the boat while the little ones were on, they took the waverunner out boarding!

This is Madie's first day that I caught in pictures.  She never gave up, and managed to totally figure it out in the blink of an eye.
I know that not everyone cares about seeing the play-by-play, but this blog is our family's history, so lots of step-by-step out of the water.

Ellie, my little flag holder.

Hi Caroline!

My other little flag holder...Aunt Audrey!

Look at that happy smile!  This girl wasn't afraid of anything!

Ellie, Easton, and Hyrum enjoying the day!

I love this girl!
Stephen on his play-by-play.
As I watched Stephen pop right out of the water, I said to Ben that he was a natural.  Ben proceeded to tell me that Stephen has always been that way.  While Ben and Bernie went snowboarding over and over again improving each time, Stephen showed up in town and went with them.  He spent only the day perfecting what they had worked on for weeks.  All my brothers are incredibly athletic, so it is fun to watch them do anything!
Go Stephen!

I think this is my favorite! The one above, not below! :)

Stephen after his successful run!
Ellie and Caroline still patiently waiting, and baking in the sun.  We definitely learned a lot about sunscreen reapplication, from lack of doing it that first boat day.  Poor kiddos.

A.J. and Ben looking more like brothers than uncle and nephew!

GO BEN!

Ben trying his first attempt at turning all the way around!

Madie and Melissa making a visit with the waverunner!

My first time watching A.J.
Definitely a natural like his dad and uncles!

I thought I would keep his missed attempts too, just to keep him humble.
Love you A.J.

That one had. to. hurt!

Here is our little bacon...I mean Caroline...burnt to a crisp that we hid under this towel to get her back to shore.

One more attempt for A.J. that paid off!
Sweet jump!

Easton's turn...watch his tongue...it is the source of all of his power.

TOTAL NATURAL on the board...NOT A NATURAL at the patience of waiting your turn.

Here is Kevin's 1st day of wakeboarding...EVER...he totally rocked it!

This is the funniest thing that happened all day.
Ok, I wouldn't jump right to fun.
This is Madie who had no idea where the gas went, so she asked a guy to help her that worked at the rental place.
She had taken off the wrong cap.
He asked her which one was the gas, and she told him she had no idea.
He proceeded to guess VERY wrong and filled the oil container with gas.
OOPS!
Look at him behind her figuring out how to fix it. Poor guy.
Well, let's just say we got a free oil change and full gas tank out of the mix-up!
THIS is what happens when you have had too much sun, too much fun, and NOT enough sleep!
Sound asleep before dinner!

The activity that night was planned by Melissa and Kevin.
Right before we got going the Graves made it to town and joined in the fun.
***You already know how I feel about my new SONY camera that is supposed to be amazing, but here are the beautiful (yellow) photos of the night.

The pick-up-the bags and put them in order game with Ellie and Quinn.
Quinn ROCKED it!

The girls cheering their teams on!
Robbie playing the OREO face game, and Kenna winning it AGAIN!

The toilet paper game starring Gunner vs. Spencer...

And Easton vs. Brooke

John, a hater of all games on the earth that aren't a true SPORT, smiling in the back.
The kids were getting very tired despite all the fun!

Madie rocked the blow the cards off and only leave one game!
Grandpa Dieker and Ben got in on the fun too!

Madie seriously rocked at the skittles balancing game too.

Then there was the tissue emptying game.

Annie, Spencer and A.J. all got in on the fun!

The night ended with family prayer, everyone together in one house (except Eddie working hard back in Colorado), and very, very exhausted little ones.
