THIS is how our family's 4th of July began...
Annie dressed up like a chicken after getting cold from swimming with the kids.
Easton got his first "job" and cut the neighbors property with the riding lawn mover.
John had him pay for gas, wash the John Deere down, and smile for a pic!
Ellie was posing away before they all headed BACK to the pool.
It was a toasty 97 degrees, so the pool became a friend to all of us.
Work a little, swim a little, work a little, swim a little...
Then around 6pm our family and friends arrived to CELEBRATE!
We had all of our usual traditions...BBQ, family and friends, homemade ice cream and brownies and LOTS of fireworks!
Easton smiling after a job well done!
Angela and Madie, two of my favorite people on earth!
Madie and her favorite friend, Becca!
Melissa and Kevin smiling as they watch the kiddos swim and enjoy the night.
Superman even attended our festivities!
Nana and Papa relaxing and taking it all it. Somehow I missed Grandma Dieker, but she was hanging out here as well.
Stephen and Robbie with smiles even after Robbie broke both arm bones in half the day before! Brave boy!!
Hyrum and Lucy enjoying a dip in the pool!
Audrey smiling with shivering Lucy in her lap.
At the end of the night we had very tired kids and parents, proof of lots of fireworks, and a feeling of another successful 4th!
