Day 1~BEAR LAKE~On the way...

I love the idea of starting this post with some of my favorite pics of the day!

I fell completely in love with both of my boys, all over again, watching them today!

Easton was in heaven and completely chomping at the bit to get in that water!

He was not always patient, but the excitement was contagious!

A.J. was anxious to get on the waverunner and rule the lake, but he paused just long enough to toss Tymber into the beautiful blue sky, and bring a little smile to her face.
The picture below is the first one taken as we headed out of our driveway at 7:04am.
Tymber is sporting her "what am I doing up so early" look!
No crying, no whining, just pure wonder.

The back of the car was loaded with smiling little girls, and a very excited boy!
Madie and Annie shared a smile at a potty break along the way!

We thought this tire deserved a picture in our travel log.
It was HUGE!!  We couldn't even visualize the vehicle that could use tires this big!

The rock formations were amazing!
Absolutely beautiful!

Madie and Annie singing and whistling along to a favorite song...
Tymber listening intently as she had her bottle!

Brooke was journaling her summer to keep up with her Summer Goals, and Ellie sporting her Mountain View Fun Run shirt where she got to meet Carl Lewis!

I had to take a quick picture of this refinery.  I had the opportunity to tell the kids about my life as a child.  My dad worked for CONOCO, and we moved all over the country as he worked in refinery after refinery.  He was the Project Engineer that would brilliantly go from one to the next figuring out the project hiccups, and then fix them.  As soon as things were back on track, we headed out to our next place and a new adventure.  I remember as a child driving by each refinery and seeing that flame lit.  I loved my childhood, and our adventures as a family!

I actually have NO idea how Madie and A.J. were "buckled up" with a picture like this!  Brooke was a happy camper though!

More gorgeous rock formations, and a cool shot of John "driving in the clouds." :)

The drive was easy and beautiful!

Before we knew it, we were through the canyon, and meeting up with family!
Bernie and his fiance, Tasia
Little Miss Keara
Grandpa Dieker holding his youngest granddaughter!

Annie "saying hello" to Keara

Then it was off to the lake...
A.J. was so excited...
And the girls posed for pictures.
The waverunner had a welcoming committee that was always excited to take it for a ride!

The light was absolutely gorgeous, so I caught several pictures of happy kiddos!
Easton posing with the board!
Bernie and Tasia were all smiles!
Keara and Melissa!

Ben getting excited for a week on the lake!

Nice wink A.J.~

Tymber was getting a little sad, until A.J. swooped her up in his strong arms and threw her up and up until she cracked a smile!

We loved that the people at Bear Lake had a little redneck in them...
Pulling their boat out with the good ole' John Deer tractor!
Cute little girls...beach bound
I was totally in love with the light that evening, but Annie wasn't in the smiling mood!

Tymber was ready to explore...
...with a little help from sister.

Lucy and Annie...cousins together at last!

This is what Tymber discovered...not quite what she was expecting!

Keara in her cute clown outfit!

Brooke...happy as could be!
The beautiful engaged couple!

Ben and Ellie hanging out!

Grandma saying hello with Tymber!

Stephen and Audrey sharing a moment without kids...not really if you count #5 on the way! :)
Stephen giving me the "Heisman!"
Beautiful light!!!
Stephen being a character!

LOOK at the HAIR!  Too funny!  I know a few boys who need a haircut!

Cousins on the uptake with a HIGH 5!
And a #1!
A.J. sporting a smile and the hair!
Annie Grace headed out for a ride!

The cousins in the gorgeous light!
Brooke smiling at dinner!

Grandma had the activity for the night...sticker fun and candy!
We were so excited to be there!  Day 2 brought a wonderful trip to church, a drive to Idaho, and fun games out of the water...STAY TUNED!
